Swansea Christmas Presence

The Swansea Bay Futures Network is working to give Swansea Bay greater presence this Christmas, by encouraging people to buy ‘Swansea-inspired’ gifts for friends and family. We are creating a circle of businesses with interesting products to sell – it’s a great way to showcase some of the innovative and creative small businesses in the region and get positive messages out there…

    Pa-Pa Jewellery Designs

    Ocean inspired Jewellery designed and made by trained silversmith Pa-pa on the edge of the Gower Peninsula, South Wales.

    My unique jewellery designs in silver and gold are inspired by my study of marine life, the colours and shapes of the rocks; discarded shells and other life forms created by the ocean’s movements have always been a great fascination for me. A lover of the sea, I spend much of my time surfing or diving the rocky outcrops of the Gower bays and walking the country paths of the Gower with my family.

    The Gower collection is a limited edition of silver necklaces, bracelets earrings and rings. All inspired by the rugged and romantic cliffs, long sweeps of unbroken sand, tumbling surf and hilltop walks of the Gower coastline. All pa-pa’s designs are hallmarked to verify the silver or gold content, and materials used are sourced here in the UK and not manufactured in a third world country where the human rights record is appalling.

    Pa-pa designs are available at a selection of reputable outlets in Swansea and Gower, including the Oyster Gallery in Mumbles, the Taliesin Arts Centre, On Board in Killay, Pj’s in Llangennith and the National Trust Shop in Rhossili. We’ll also be at Swansea Christmas Market, Oxford Street, from 28th November to 16th December 2010.
