Local businesses working together to support events that bring real benefits to Swansea Bay

On 13th July 2011, businesses in Swansea were invited to join a discussion of what we can do to help capitalise on the Swans’ promotion to the Premier League.  Swansea Bay Futures is charged with promoting the region as a great place to live, work, invest, study and visit.  This opportunity to spread positive messages about the region, on the back on the Swans’ being in the Permier League, is one we should not miss.  We are not naive, nor are we under any illusions that promotion will completely transform the fortunes of the city, but we feel strongly that this is a fantastic opportunity – and, like all opportunities, ‘it’s what we make of it’ that matters.
